Tarot Major Arcana The Fools Story

I'm always trying to remember my knowledge and details of the Tarot.. I do know a lot, but really there's there's SO much information.. I wanted to revisit the actual story of the Fools Journey.. and then accompany it with images that offer more detail on the symbolism...

Here's a copy of my exact post from Witch's Cauldron....

Let's take a little time and go on the "Fool's Journey" and look through the images to see the representations of some of the symbolism used...
~Citrine~
We begin with the Fool (0), a card of beginnings.
The Fool stands for each of us as we begin our journey of life. He is a fool because only a simple soul has the innocent faith to undertake such a journey with all its hazards and pain.
At the start of his trip, the Fool is a newborn - fresh, open and spontaneous. The figure on Card 0 has his arms flung wide, and his head held high. He is ready to embrace whatever comes his way, but he is also oblivious to the cliff edge he is about to cross. The Fool is unaware of the hardships he will face as he ventures out to learn the lessons of the world.
The Fool stands somewhat outside the rest of the major arcana. Zero is an unusual number. It rests in the exact middle of the number system - poised between the positive and negative. At birth, the Fool is set in the middle of his own individual universe. He is strangely empty (as is zero), but imbued with a desire to go forth and learn. This undertaking would seem to be folly, but is it?

My days...

As I sit and think...
All of my days are my "Journey" .. and I don't give credit to all..
Just like everyone my days are good, bad, and well "eh".. Exciting, average, and very boring..
All part of my journey... and I should .. or maybe I need to keep track of all of them..
Some I include here but really not much. I typically just share my "witchy" posts from my facebook page Witch's Cauldron ..
Time to change it up.. lets see how well I handle keeping up with it..

Imbolc & Sophia

Sophia, also spelled Sofia, is a female name derived from σοφία, the Greek word for "Wisdom". The name was used to represent the personification of wisdom

Yes, I had to know... I didn't know why the "quote, chant, poem" for Imbolc referred to Sophia..

Feb. 2nd Candlemas from Imbolc

~Citrine~
Feb. 2nd
Candlemas is a church "adaptation" of a pagan goddess holiday called Imbolc where people light candles to banish dark spooks. Candlemas is celebrated on the same day as that pagan holiday, February 2nd. The word Imbolc, variously spelled Imbolg, Oimelc and Imelg, means "ewe-milk" because this is the time lambs were born in old England, Ireland and most of Europe thus bringing back the flow of ewe's milk.
Among the Celts, the pagan celebration of Imbolc occurred on the first of February. This was in honor of the goddess Brigid and was associated with purification and fertility at the end of winter. Peasants would carry torches and cross the fields in procession, praying to the goddess to purify the ground before planting

February Blessings

Happy February Blessings
To Wisdom I call out, Wisdom I invoke
Wisdom I embrace, Wisdom that once spoke
in every wheeling star,
in every sturdy oak:
Show your face again, Sophia!
Remove your shadow cloak!
February gets its name from the word "meaning "to purify." . The official day for focusing on purification is February 15.
This is a good month to work with your energy, any magic focused on growth, well-being, purification, cleansing, or initiation is suited to this month's aspects
