I have been spending a lot of time working on my gardens... also a little time harvesting... Yesterday's harvest was White Clover...

White clover can be good for you. It is high in protein, has beta carotene, vitamin C, most of the B vitamins, biotin, calcium, chromium, magnesium, niacin, tryptophan, phosphorus, potassium, thiamine, choline, inositol, bioflavonoids and isoflavones.
White clover has been used as medicine and food by the Cherokee, Iroquois, Mohegan, Delaware Algonquians and other Native American tribes for centuries.
They used whole clover plants in salads, and made a white clover leaf tea.
Sacred to the Celts
Symbolic for Earth, Sea, Sky (Trefoils in Druid Lore)
White clover blossoms were used in folk medicine against....
Gout,
Rheumatism,
Leucorrhea.
It was also believed that the texture of fingernails and toenails would improve after drinking clover blossom tea.
coughs and colds.
White clover is thought to clean the system,
decrease irritation and muscular activity of the gastrointestinal tract.

• Ulcers (Skin) – Flesh flower poultice, flower or leaf infusion as wash and/or apply infusion compress
• Wounds – flower or leaf infusion as wash and/or apply infusion compress.
